Shedding of rubella virus in postsymptomatic individuals; viral RNA load is a potential indicator to estimate candidate patients excreting infectious rubella virus

Kazuma Okada is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Raul Andino Lab at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). His research focuses on viral pathogenesis and RNA biology, developing tools to investigate the mechanisms of viral pathogenesis and replication. Outside the lab, he is an avid marathon runner (PB: 2:49:47) and trail runner.
